FLOWERS – Flowers on the alter are given in loving memory of Andrew Thomas Pohonche by his family.

Flag Dedication ceremony – 2:30 PM at the Honor Roll in Centermoreland. All are invited, especially veterans. Refreshments at the church following the ceremony.

Lunch Bunch – Nov 9, 12:00 noon Really Cooking, Dallas. Please bring packaged cookies for prison ministries. Call Margot if you plan to attend.

It's Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Time. PACK & PRAY. Year # 13 for CM Shoe boxes due NO later than Sunday, Nov. 15. Dedication on Sun., Nov. 15th at the 11 o'clock service. Franklin Graham: "Every shoe box offers an opportunity to share the GOOD NEWS of the Savior with a hurting child."
Pick up your flyers on the back table.

Church Family Tree – Nov 21 CM will be decorating the church and tree for the Advent season. Bring an ornament for the tree that is meaningful to you and/or your family. If you want the ornament back after Christmas, put a tag on it with your name. Ornaments can be left in the back of the church before Nov 21st. Please come and help decorate. A sign up sheet is in the back of the church for a light supper of soup and sandwiches.

Youth Mission Cookie Bake, Sunday, Nov. 22 following 11 o'clock worship. For 6th grade and up! WE NEED LOTS & LOTS of COOKIES.

Advent Candles
– CM Nov 29, Dec 6, 13, 20, 24 Lighting of the Advent Candles. Families and friends that would like to do reading and light the candle of the week please contact Meg Venn. We need people for each week from both 8:30 and 11:00 services.

Family Advent Candles – CM - As in the past we ask you to bring in a family candle that you may light before church service during Advent. If you want your candle back, please put your name on it. PLEASE – NO SCENTED CANDLES!

Nursery Church – CM – We need you! The Worship Committee is seeking a motivated person to chair this program. There will be a new curriculum in 2010 that needs someone to guide it! Please contact Meg Venn if you have questions.

Sunday School Yard Sale: The Christian Education Committee will be sponsoring a yard sale. The sale will take place on the church grounds, rain or shine, on Saturday, August 29, From 9-3. Proceeds will be for the Sky Lake Fund and the Sunday School. To reserve your space the cost is $10 and $15 if we provide a table. To reserve your space call 333 - 4932 or 639 - 2341. Deadline for reserving space/table is Saturday, August 22. We request "no early birds" please.

The Falls Senior Center (open weekdays 9 til 2) provides strategies for beating stress! 1. losing yourself in activities; 2. talk and laugh! 3. exercise; 4. eat a healthy, balanced meal. The Center is all about socializing, so visit or call 388-2623.

Summer Events:
Several events are scheduled for this summer;
Sermon Series: Pastor Drew will preach a 7 week series on the Book of Acts, beginning June 28. A Bible study accompanying this series continues Next Wednesday, July 15, at 7:00 at Center Moreland. (new schedule TBA)

Book Discussions: You are invited for two informal discussions this summer. On July 30, we will discuss the book The Shack, by William Young. On August 27, we will discuss the book Velvet Elvis, by Rob Bell. Both book discussions begin at 7:00, and the site for each will be determined between Center Moreland and Dymond Hollow.
