On August 27, we will discuss the book Velvet Elvis, by Rob Bell. Both book discussions begin at 7:00, and the site for each will be determined between Center Moreland and Dymond Hollow.

Green Churches Forum: Practical ideas on how congregations can save the earth! Hosted by the Wyoming Conference Social Justice Network (chaired by Eric Yetter), on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00-4:00pm at Elm Park UMC, Oneonta, NY.
Soldiers of Christ Night at the Ballpark! Come join us on Independence Day, July 4, as the SWB Yankees play the Pawtucket Red Sox! Tix are $9.50 for a lower level seat, a hat, a meal voucher for Domino’s pizza, a program, and a great fireworks display at the end of the game!

Studio Go! Game Show; Vacation Bible School at Center Moreland United Methodist Church. This week! Tomorrow’s session starts at 8:30, for registration, and the rest of the days start at 9. There will be a parents’ program on Friday evening. Each day at Studio Go! Game Show, the children and youth will participate in the large group-music, skits, Bible stories, crafts, refreshments, games, and special mission projects where the children will be encouraged and motivated to go out and serve others. The Bible stories will be applied to their everyday life. The challenges will help the kids : Go Lead! Go Risk! Go Tell! Go Obey! Go Serve! and to understand how God works in their lives of those who trust Him. Preregistration is strongly encouraged for planning purposes and supplies. Please preregister, if possible, today, to Meg Venn.

New Bibles: Dymond Hollow is purchasing updated Bibles for the pews. If you would like to buy one in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one, they will cost $11.00. Please see Sally Wall or Shirley Pearn for more information. Orders will be taken though June 24.
Studio Go! Game Show; Vacation Bible School at Center Moreland United Methodist Church. The dates are June 22 - 26. Monday’s session starts at 8:30, for registration, and the rest of the days start at 9. There will be a parents’ program on Friday evening. Each day at Studio Go! Game Show, the children and youth will participate in the large group-music, skits, Bible stories, crafts, refreshments, games, and special mission projects where the children will be encouraged and motivated to go out and serve others. The Bible stories will be applied to their everyday life. The challenges will help the kids : Go Lead! Go Risk! Go Tell! Go Obey! Go Serve! and to understand how God works in their lives of those who trust Him. Preregistration is strongly encouraged for planning purposes and supplies. Please preregister, if possible, by June 14th to Meg Venn at 333 1016.
