Covered Dish Dinner: Today, following 11 o'clock worship at Center Moreland, honoring our Confirmands from both churches! Bring a dish, beverage, or dessert to share and your own place setting.

New Bibles: Dymond Hollow is purchasing updated Bibles for the pews. If you would like to buy one in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one, they will cost $11.00. Please see Sally Wall or Shirley Pearn for more information. Orders will be taken though June 24.

Studio Go! Game Show; Vacation Bible School at Center Moreland United Methodist Church. The dates are June 22 - 26. Monday’s session starts at 8:30, for registration, and the rest of the days start at 9. There will be a parents’ program on Friday evening. Each day at "Studio Go! Game Show," the children and youth will participate in the large group-music, skits, Bible stories, crafts, refreshments, games, and special mission projects where the children will be encouraged and motivated to go out and serve others. The Bible stories will be applied to their everyday life. The challenges will help the kids : Go Lead! Go Risk! Go Tell! Go Obey! Go Serve! and to understand how God works in their lives of those who trust Him. Preregistration is strongly encouraged for planning purposes and supplies. Please preregister, if possible, by June 14th to Meg Venn.

Green Churches Forum: Practical ideas on how congregations can save the earth! Hosted by the Wyoming Conference Social Justice Network (chaired by Eric Yetter), on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00-4:00pm at Elm Park UMC, Oneonta, NY.

Graduation Celebration - Please join the Venn family in celebrating Stefen’s high school graduation on Saturday, June 6 - from noon on. At the Venn's, on Rt 292 approx 2 miles west of Creamery Rd.

Soldiers of Christ Night at the Ballpark! Come join us on Independence Day, July 4, as the SWB Yankees play the Pawtucket Red Sox! Tix are $9.50 for a lower level seat, a hat, a meal voucher for Domino’s pizza, a program, and a great fireworks display at the end of the game!

The Falls Senior Center (open weekdays 9 til 2) provides strategies for beating stress! 1. losing yourself in activities; 2. talk and laugh! 3. exercise; 4. eat a healthy, balanced meal. Lower Wyo. County Food Pantry: Center Moreland will be collecting food items for the food pantry at Lake Winola UMC through the month of May. The food pantry now serves folks in our area (Center Moreland & Dymond Hollow). Call 586-1433 or 378-2492 for info.

WRGN Yard Sale: Saturday, June 6, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., at Barb & Art Saxe Farm, Bethel Hill Road, Rickett's Glen St. Park (near Mary Clemow's home). Please contact Sheryl for info.

Great Fifty Days: The Wyoming conference is taking the 2009 Offering for both Haiti Partnership and Friends of Zimbabwe. Our gifts will be presented at this year’s Annual Conference in Scranton. There is a container for your donations.

Wyoming County Senior Services: There is now a list of services available to senior citizens in Wyoming County. They are posted in the rear of the church (DH) or in the narthex (CM). Additional copies are available by request.
