Operation Worship Bibles: If you have taken a bible to inscribe to a soldier, please return it soon, so they may be sent!

Souper Bowl Of Caring: Soup & Sandwich Lunch on Super Bowl today, noon; SBC "SOUP POT" collection will also be taken at the doors following both worship services. Cash donations will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen in Wilkes-Barre. Please return grocery bags with food donations by today, as well. Don't forget to write the price value of your groceries and the total number of canned goods on the outside of the bag. The youth will also be doing other mission service projects on Super Bowl weekend.

Carnations or Fudge! Orders are being taken by the CM youth through today, and will be distributed next week in worship. To place an order, see a member of the youth group or a leader, or fill out the form available in the Center Moreland narthex, insert it into a sandwich bag provided, and drop it in the box. Cash or check are accepted, please make checks payable to Soldiers for Christ. Thank you for your support!

Crayon Can Project: We are collecting old and broken crayons. Rather than be thrown away and take decades to biodegrade, they will be melted and reformed into fun shapes, and given to special needs or sick children. For more information, please go to www.crayoncan.com, or contact Melinda Smith.

Lent Services:
Dates are set for the Wednesdays of Lent, all starting at 7:30. Locations are tentative!
• March 4th, at Lake Winola UMC
• March 11th at Falls UMC
• March 18 at Center Moreland UMC
• March 25 at Eatonville UMC
• April 1 at Evans Falls UMC
The theme will be the Old Testament passages from the lectionary, and the offering for the services will be taken for Mission Central, the UMCOR warehouse in Harrisburg. Weather Note: If Tunkhannock School district has closed the day of the service, the service is cancelled.

Special Class for Lent: This Lent, Pastor Drew will focusing on the book Three Simple Rules: A Wesleyan Way of Living, by Rueben P. Job. John Wesley’s words and thought can give us good guidance for how to live as Christians today by following three simple rules; Do no Harm, Do Good, and Stay in Love with God. Bishop Job’s basic text will be available at the beginning of Lent, and books for the class, for both youth and adults, which will be offered on Monday nights at 7:30, will be available as well.
