Center Moreland Childrens’ Christmas Play Titled Santa Gives Back Christmas, this is a short play with lots of music, cute kids in pajamas, elves and reindeer. There’s even Santa! The rehearsal schedule is (all at 6:30 PM): Tuesday Dec. 9 and Tuesday Dec. 16. Dress rehearsal is Dec. 20, from 10-12, and the cast call is at 6:30 for a performance at 7:00.

Advent Family Candles Once again, we will be offering the opportunity for families and individuals to have their own Advent candle displayed in the sanctuary during Advent. Please make every effort to have your candle, preferably non-or -lightly scented, on the display table that day!
Advent Wreath candle lighters: If you would like to participate in Advent worship by lighting the advent candle, please call or e-mail Pastor Drew. Both families and individuals, and all ages are invited to participate. There are still one or two weeks left, as well as Christmas eve.

Crayon Can Project: We are collecting old and broken crayons. Rather than be thrown away and take decades to biodegrade, they will be melted and reformed into fun shapes, and given to special needs or sick children. For more information, please go to www.crayoncan.com, or contact Melinda Smith.

Dymond Hollow: If you have an address change, please let the membership committee (Pauline Scott, LaVerne Logan, or Kathy Faux) know. This includes newly assigned addresses for 911.

Remember our Friends: Previous listings for “Remember our Friends” is now posted and in the Narthex, or in the back of the church. In addition, our list of Military is also posted there.

Sight and Sound Trip: the trip on March 14 has been cancelled.

The Annual Advent Gathering of the women of our neighboring churches will be at Pickett’s Charge on December 9 at 6 PM. Everyone is asked to bring 3 wrapped gifts for Crazy Bingo. To make a reservation, please call LaVerne at 333-4332, or Sally at 675-2325.
